Chris Myers and his team at Campbell & Ferrara did a fantastic job on a landscaping and drainage project for our backyard. We had a portion of our backyard that was overgrown with weeds and suffered from drainage issues. We did not know where to start. Chris had a vision for the project that he developed over several site visits, and presented the renderings to us. He incorporated our preferences, and was able to execute it within two days. His team worked hard in cold weather to transform a neglected area to a highlight of our yard that tastefully incorporates better-functioning drainage. Chris is an extremely knowledgeable and detail-oriented professional who is a pleasure to work with. We are looking forward to working with him on our next project in the spring.

We interviewed 3 contractors to design and landscape our front yard. We went with CF after meeting Jeff Trafidlo. He is upbeat, creative, responsive and flexible. Our landscape has a perfect variety of perennial and evergreens that bloom from spring to fall. We lost a few plants and they were replaced under warranty without a problem. I had excellent landscaping done five years ago by C&F And recently contacted them to extend some of their original work. Peter Rhyne took a look at my issues and very quickly sent back a great and detailed plan. Work was finished today and I can’t wait to watch the new shrubs fill the space. I have always dreamed of the day we could have our yard landscaped to absolute completion. Peter Rhyne not only filled our gardens with beautiful plants, he went beyond my imaginings with his design, including a children's sensory garden with boulders to climb on, tall grasses to run through, blueberries to pick in season, and a lovely bridge inviting them into this sweet scape. Every inch of our yard from front to back as well as the sides are blossoming with a new and wonderful variety of plants, expanded spacious patios and lovely rock retaining walls that we can also enjoying sitting upon under our trees. And all of this he has lit up at night! Beautifully done, Peter and the Campbell and Ferrara team!

Campbell & Ferrara just completed a softscape project in our back yard and we are super happy with the results. We worked with Christopher Myer, who was professional and great to work with. We started off by meeting at our property and describing what we wanted to accomplish. Soon after, Chris had a full proposal for our back yard. His proposal was comprehensive and even included potential substitutes/options to the plants in the main design. From there, we scaled it back to meet our budget, and revised the design a couple of times until we were happy with it and the cost. Chris was receptive during the design reviews while still ensuring the right plants were being picked for the desired locations (ie amount of light/water/etc).Once the design was locked in, we had a bit of a wait until the project started, but that was our fault for starting the process so late in the season. Once the crew started the work in earnest, they were done in 3 days. Everything is now planted and looking great. We can't wait for everything to take root and start growing. I'm sure by this time next year our back yard will look amazing.Thanks again, Chris.

As a matter of fact, your landscape designer serves as your single point of contact working closely with you to guide you through all phases of your project; from plants to masonry. We will take care of everything so you can relax and enjoy the transformation of your landscape into a beautiful and functional outdoor living environment.

In essence, our friendly landscape administrative staff will take the time to understand your landscape needs and address all of your questions. In addition, a personal landscape designer, best suited for the aspects of your project, will be assigned to you. Ordinarily, a minimal landscape consultation fee is required; the fee is credited back when the project is under contract.

DESIGN / BUILD PROCESS

DISCOVERY

Your personally assigned Landscape Designer meets with you at your home for the initial landscape consultation.

Listens to you to discover and understand your dreams, ideas, vision, objectives and concerns.
Gains an understanding of you and your lifestyle, concerns, budget, priorities, and time frames.
Explores your property with you to gain a comprehensive understanding of your current outdoor environment, the possibilities, limitations and county and/or HOA requirements.
Determines the next step in the process based on the objectives, scope and complexity of your project.
Schedules a 2nd meeting with you to be held at the landscape office or at your home.

DEVELOPMENT

Creative energies flow as your landscape designer determines the solution that meets all of your objectives and complements your existing environment.

Develops the best solution and effective plan of action to accomplish your project based on your objectives and budget; projects may be completed in phases.
Prepares an estimate/proposal, landscape conceptual ideas and project time frames.
May recommend or it may be necessary due to the scope and complexity of the project, to have a master landscape plan developed with graphic landscape design software by the designer. Any fees associated with the development of a master plan will be credited back to you when you enter into a contract with Campbell & Ferrara.

REVIEW

We want you to love it! Meet with the landscape designer to review the project ideas and to provide your valuable feedback.

Reviews the solution and estimate/proposal with you and welcomes your input.
Makes any adjustments and revisions to the estimate/proposal, conceptual ideas/plan for your approval.
Clients that enter into a contract will be credited back the minimal landscape consultation fee and receive the visual materials supporting the project including landscape conceptual ideas, plans etc.
Clients that elect not to enter into a contract will receive the estimate/proposal. The landscape conceptual landscape ideas and landscape plans developed are available for purchase.

CONSTRUCTION

Your designer will be there guiding you and the installation team every step of the way.

Works closely with you and the entire team throughout the project. Each team consists of a highly skilled foreman and landscape crew members.
Manages all aspects of your project to ensure that your project reflects the highest quality, is completed in a timely manner and meets your expectations.
Professionally works with you to address any concerns throughout the entire process and beyond.
